Biography

Dr. Lee received his medical degree from the University of Miami and completed his medicine residency at Wadsworth VA Medical Center and his chief residency at UCLA. He continued in his fellowship training in gastroenterology at Duke University.

Prior to coming to UCI Medical Center, Dr. Lee was an associate professor of medicine at UC Davis.


Expertise and Interests

Dr. Lee is an associate professor of clinical medicine at the UCI Medical Center. He is also the director of Pancreatico-Biliary Services in the division of gastroenterology at UCI Medical Center and associate director of the CDDC.

His specialty includes treatment of pancreatico-biliary tract diseases, especially through therapeutic ERCP and interventional EUS, treatment of GI bleeding, and treatment of difficult or large colonic polyps.

He is also involved in the research of outcomes of all new GI endoscopy.
